Simcoe Elementary School is the largest class size reduction project for the State and is being constructed for the Wapato School District. Careful planning and meticulous adherence to a limited budget has been the key to the District’s ability to build a new school with money granted by the state.
Roen Associates has provided cost estimating, pre-design planning, value engineering, constructability review and construction management services. Intense marketing and strategic bid timing were key to bringing this project to fruition. The project was completed for less than $200/SF.
